Coronavirus outbreak and how to do business in Montgomery County

To limit social contact during the coronavirus outbreak, Montgomery County reminds residents of several ways to use online services to conduct business in the county.

“Montgomery County citizens need to use online services whenever possible to limit the transmission of COVID-19 to Montgomery County citizens. We all must do our part to reduce the chance of transmitting the coronavirus, ”said Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett in a press release.

Real estate data is available and can be searched online. All business with customers will be conducted by phone and email, in the office and remotely. Customers entering the office will be able to call from the lobby and obtain their information by phone. Copies will be sent to the printer in the lobby.

User fee payments can be made online and mailed.

The county clerk's office offers several online services to include online vehicle renewals.

Visit the county administrator to pay taxes and provide a change of address.

Basic questions can be answered over the phone. Documents can also be emailed to the public upon request.

Soil Conservation provides conservation program applications, agricultural planning and technical assistance, technical soil information, filing of reimbursement forms, and processing / payment of program contracts by phone and online. Farm visits are determined individually.
