1-90 Miles Cuban Cafe

Under the direction of its owner, Alberto González, this Hispanic restaurant, established in 2008, has distinguished itself with the essence of Cuban cuisine. It has locations in Logan Square, Roscoe Village, and downtown Chicago.

González confessed that his dishes are made following his grandmother's recipes, but with his and his father's touch. They serve from Cuban sandwich, guajirito, Cuban frit, old clothes bictec on horseback to Cuban coffee.

2-My Tocaya Craving

Specializing in Mexican food from chef Diana Dávila that focuses on small meals like burrata and cactus salad. As well as a plate of beef tongue with peanut butter and tacos, fish with black mole, aguachile, enchiladas potosinas. Also noteworthy is the fried oyster taco, meat burrito and nopalitos tlacoyo.

3 floor

This Mexican restaurant located in the heart of West Town opened its doors in 1999 to offer brunch, lunch and dinner in a vibrant and lively atmosphere. It also has delivery and catering.

Its menu includes braised pork with red chili, black beans and cheddar cheese, roasted pork burrito and black beans, chicken enchiladas with green chili. As well as hatch green chile stew, carnitas tacos and vegetarian burrito.

4-Jibaritos and More

With restaurants on Fullerton Ave, Harlem and Lincoln, it has an exquisite menu of Puerto Rican food. The jibarito stands out, which is a green banana sandwich stuffed with meat and cheese. They also have vegetables with cod, jibarito steak, suckling pig, octopus salad and tostones.

5-Carnivale

At 702 W Fulton Market you can find Carnivale, a South American restaurant that opened in 2005 and is popular for its rum-roasted pork and pupusas stuffed with oxtail, cheese, and refried beans. All in a room decorated with bright colors and a vibrant atmosphere.

Visitors also delight in the mixed ceviche, exquisite guacamole, flank steak, paella, old clothes, empanadas and mojitos. It was awarded the 2020 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice for its cuisine inspired by Mexico, South and Central America.

6-Coffee With Milk

Its coffee-flavored flan and its meat with chimichurri are its calling cards apart from the coffee with milk. Located in Logan Square since 2001 it has an outdoor tent with heat lamps.

There you can enjoy Mexican eggs, ranchers, green chilaquiles, vegetable cakes. They also offer veggie burritos, buttermilk pancakes, fresh water, and more. It serves classic Mexican breakfasts, Latin dinners, delicious roast pork, desserts, and coffees.

7-Carnitas Uruapan

Known for serving Chicago's best carnitas since 1975 in Pilsen, it has now spread to Gage Park. Their menu focuses on typical Michoacan carnitas ordered by the taco or by the pound.
