Tuesday March 16, 2021-. Corfo started a new call to the Fit for Partnership with Germany Program, an online instance that trains and facilitates the exploration of the German market for SMEs and leaders of highly innovative national startups, which are already in a consolidation and scaling phase.

The initiative, implemented by Corfo, has the support of the German Ministry of Economy and Energy, and the Chilean Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, and is coordinated at the international level by the German agency for international cooperation, GIZ. Its main objective is to generate opportunities for Chilean companies to explore the German market and meet potential partners who are interested in its products and / or services.

“As a result of the health contingency, the need to promote the internationalization of SMEs in our region has become increasingly latent, identifying their scalability potential to provide them with digital and commercial tools that allow them to better access the cultural exchange that it provides. the opening to new markets. This program is a unique opportunity to establish business relationships with German partners that will be fruitful in the future ”, expressed Macarena Vera Messer, executive director of Corfo Biobío.

The call, whose applications will be available until April 16, 2020 at 12:00, seeks to train and create negotiation instances for managers, executives or leaders of innovative startups, who have a high level of English, and who work in small and medium-sized Chilean companies with potential in foreign trade, which is verified through a brief description of the collaboration project that they would like to carry out. This project helps to focus and guide how to establish and realize long-term business relationships with German companies.

Part of the value proposition of Fit for Partnership with Germany, includes practical training in negotiation, management techniques and exchange of ideas, as well as virtual visits to companies in this country and business-to-business meetings. After the online trainings, a follow-up of the graduates will be generated, to then make a closure in Germany with a stay of one week, if sanitary conditions allow it.
