How long does it take to get a real estate license?

  • Tennessee: requires 60 hours of course before applying for the license.

  • California: requires three courses of 45 hours each, in total there are 135 hours.
  • New York: To be a real estate agent in New York you need 75 hours of education.
  • Texas- Texas real estate license requires 180 hours of training.
  • Michigan: In this state, 40 courses are required before making the request.
