Hispanic Entrepreneurs.- We are celebrating the launch of the third edition of the Hispanic Entrepreneurs digital magazine in Los Angeles, Chile. Its general director David Bracamonte recalled that this is a project that has the support of Corfo, "our mission was to be able to conduct digital interviews with entrepreneurs from the Bíobío region, and we have already done 30 interviews."

He revealed that in addition to telling their stories, they have advised the entrepreneurs with whom they have had the pleasure of talking. With the intention of improving his business, "the truth is that for the Hispanic Entrepreneurs team it has been a great experience."

On this occasion we tell the story of Austral Congelados, Antuco Tienda, Cambio Verde, Eco Cañi, Tecno Protec, Ilwen Sabores del Campo, Sayen Accesorios, Siste María Shawarma, Mieles Entetenidas and Little Angels.

Camila Jure, from Antuco Tienda said that it was unexpected that they considered her to be part of the edition, “we loved being able to participate, it was super entertaining. They had never interviewed us at the store, so it was to tell our story a little bit, we were able to express our ideas, tell a little about our experience to see if other people were inspired. We liked it a lot and we are very happy ”.

Personal monitoring

Regarding the advice they received, he commented that they were precise with what they needed, “they gave us very good tips, which is actually what one needs, that they give advice, that they are super oriented to what we needed in that minute that They were applied and gave immediate results. You can see that with a little orientation the view of the page changed a lot, like showing us and doing a little advertising, thank you very much for that ”.

For their part, Daniela Coronado Zúñiga and her father Oscar Coronado from Cambio Verde thanked them for the experience they had in the interview and counseling process, “it was quite enriching for us, from the moment of the interview, to tell our story and to be able to make ourselves known. We are very happy. All those tips they gave us were wonderful because they began to bear fruit immediately ”.

Pedro Almedras from Eco Cañi described having participated in the Hispanic Entrepreneurs project as a good experience. "In my case, what I liked the most was generating sales for people who do not have cash availability and having the means of payment."

Beautiful magazine

“The magazine was beautiful”, launched Marcelo Vergara from Tecno Protec who revealed that it was an edifying experience in every way, “we took the opportunity to review some other things that are important, sometimes one becomes too robotic in the company. The truth is that each of us came to these undertakings due to some personal, human situation, and that was very much highlighted in the magazine ”.

He added that he is happy to have conducted the interview, although he had never done it before, “for me it was a very good experience. We made a very good arrival. I rediscovered myself in the magazine ”.

How to open a business in the United States

As part of the special programming of the launch, María Jiménez shared a talk with the entrepreneurs on how to open a business in the United States. The specialist explained that there is no specific guideline to be successful, because this depends on the type of business you want to develop.

For this reason, you must be very clear about which branch you are going to dedicate yourself to, have a legal entity to have a tax or social security number. To meet this essential requirement, the person must be within the United States or appoint a lawyer to represent them. It should be noted that they do not require a visa to obtain it.

Jiménez advises that entrepreneurs take good advice and do not trust anyone who offers to do the paperwork because there are many scams. The next step is to register the business, the most recommended for foreigners are LLCs, "it is not advisable to do an individual signature."

Later you have to register in the state where it will work and find a place. If you want to enjoy the full interview and see more testimonials from entrepreneurs, visit our YouTube channel.
