There are various ideas of nbusinesses to undertake in Georgia for its favorable economic environment for small businesses. These are the largest contributors to the state's economy. They make up 98% of the established enterprises.

Its beaches, farmland and mountains make it a prosperous and perfect area to undertake. Various categories can be exploited such as finance, transport, services, etc. 

In 2021 the state was rated A- in a survey for friendliness to small businesses. Besides has one of the lowest business tax rates compared to the national average.

1-Fishing

Being a state with Atlantic Ocean beaches and several rivers, the fishing business is viable. Its bodies of water are home to a large number of species such as trout, sea bass, shrimp, oysters, seaweed, among others.

The agricultural sector contributes about $74,900 billion annually to Georgia's finances. This according to data from the Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development of the UGA. By having millions of acres of land suitable for the development of agriculture, a significant number of foods are produced. 

The crops of corn, vegetables, cotton, nuts, peanuts, blueberries and onions stand out. This production can be sold to supermarket chains, restaurants, among other establishments.

Likewise, there is a good market for poultry, egg, and meat businesses.

3-Tourist guide

This land also has many tourist attractions and you can take advantage of the interest they generate to open a tour guide business. Offer to coordinate visits and take clients to the sites of their choice.

This state was named one of the top 50 tourist destinations by Travel + Leisure.

4-Mining and construction

Building grade limestone, barite, ochre, and coal are found in northwestern Georgia. It is a good option to bet on its processing, reselling the minerals or transporting them. On the other hand, you can enter the construction sector using these materials at a low cost.

5-Car rental

6-Grocery store

This is a business that always thrives everywhere. Just make sure you have good suppliers that have fresh items all the time. The capital to invest will be determined by the size and scope you want it to have. 

7-Spa anti-aging

The human need to look younger will continue over time, even in Georgia. So it offers alternatives to keep your skin fresh through a spa. Study which are the most demanded treatments and include them in the list of services. 

8-Moving company

Georgia was one of the states with the highest rate of relocations according to the 2019 census. As its inhabitants like to move within their territory and around it, it is ideal to open a moving business.

It can be as a partner of a truck. But if you have the resources, hire a trained team and acquire a fleet of trucks. The success rate is great. 

9-Food Truck

In Georgia there are different ways to find financing to start your business. Loans can be obtained from local banks, federal loans and grants.
