You can apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and clicking the “Apply” link. If this is your first time applying using our online job application, you will need to create and save a profile. This profile will be used to filter information to the app for each position it is applied to. Creating a profile ensures that you don't have to re-create the same information each time you apply for a different job. You can update your profile as needed whenever you want. It is important that your application demonstrates all relevant education and experience that you possess. Applications may be rejected if they are incomplete.

After your request has been submitted, you will receive an email confirming receipt. Groups of qualified applicants are referred to the appropriate recruiting department by Human Resources staff. Each individual hiring department will review applications and make a hiring selection. Due to the large volume of applications received, you will only be contacted by the hiring department if they request additional information or if you wish to continue with an interview. Therefore, please refrain from making calls to check the status of your application.

Online access to jobs

The Tennessee Department of Labor (Career Center) accepts all applications for Police and Fire Officer positions on behalf of the City of Clarksville. If you need help filling out the application or during any phase of the application, interview or employment process, please notify Sheila Michaels at (931) 645-7451 and all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your needs in a timely manner.

Please note that online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted. Also, application for City positions must be made only through the City of Clarksville website and not through other external sites. Before applying for any City position, please check to confirm that the position is posted in the “Job Opportunities” area of the Home Page or in the Human Resources section of the official City website.

Create a vibrant and optimistic image for a blog post (16:9 ratio). The scene shows two or three Hispanic entrepreneurs (male and female, diverse in age and appearance) collaborating in a bright, modern workspace or well-organized home office in the United States. They are smiling and look focused and successful. One of them might be pointing at something on a laptop screen displaying a colorful online store interface or growth charts. Another might be reviewing folded trendy clothes or examining the quality of an accessory. Nearby, there might be some stylized shipping boxes (neutral or vibrant colors like those used by Shein—white, pale pink, black—but without visible logos). The atmosphere should be professional yet approachable and full of positive energy. The lighting should be bright and natural. The style should be photorealistic or a clean, modern illustration. The background should suggest an environment of digital entrepreneurship and growth (perhaps a window with a subtle urban view or neatly arranged bookshelves). The image should convey opportunity, technology, and success in e-commerce for the Hispanic community." Key Elements to look for in the generated image: Representation: Diverse, entrepreneurial Hispanics with a positive and professional attitude. Context: Modern workspace/home office in the USA. Activity: Use of technology (laptop), handling fashion products/packaging. Shein Theme (subtle): Current fashionable clothing, stylized packages (no logos). Tone/Mood: Optimistic, successful, technological, empowering. Style: Vibrant, clean, photorealistic or modern illustration. Format: Horizontal (16:9 ideal for blogs). This description should result in a visually attractive image that is highly relevant to your article about doing business with Shein for Hispanic entrepreneurs.
